Buying Healthy Plants
The nurseries in my area are bustling with activity as people start to stock up on their annuals, veggies, and perennials for the season. There's nothing quite like filling your cart with new plants. The promise of another gardening season, in which we haven't forgotten to water and the neighborhood bunnies haven't ravaged our vegetable garden is a joyous time for gardeners.

Colleen - on an old episode of Manic Organic they said that, if you you are buying a conventionally grown veggie plants, you can pinch off the first flowers to reduce the exposure to chemicals.
