I'm thinking of introducing a regular feature here at About.com Organic Gardening. I am a voracious blog and news reader, and I come across so many great stories and blog posts in the course of a week that it seems a shame not to share them with you. So, we'll give it a try this week, and if it seems like this is something you enjoy, I'll make it a regular thing. Also, feel free to share any posts you came across this week!
From Maria Rodale's blog: The True Cost of Doubt and Denial
From Treehugger: Ask Pablo -- Am I an Eco-Hypocrite if I Use RoundUp? (Pablo's answer is dead wrong, by the way. I blogged about the very real dangers that RoundUp presents to humans quite a while ago.)
Fine Gardening magazine's Vegetable Gardener blog has a great post up about making an in-garden food scrap storage/composter pail. Love this idea!
About.com Herb Gardens Guide Amy Jeanroy published a great post about using those "weedy" violets in your yard. (I love my violets, but I know plenty of people who pull every single one out!)
That's it for this week! Let me know what you think of a weekly link round-up idea, and share any other links you think we should read in the comments.
